Indonesia merupakan negara agraris yang memiliki sektor pertanian dan perkebunan cukup luas. Mayoritas masyarakat terutama tempat tinggalnya di pedesaan atau pegunungan bekerja pada bidang maupun perkebunan. Perkembangan industri banyak mengalami peningkatan. Selain peningkatan, kontribusi sub pun sangat baik karena dalam PDB yaitu sekitar 3,27 persen tahun 2019 urutan pertama pertanian, peternakan, perburuan, jasa pertanian. Proses pemerahan tebu menggunakan mesin roll tujuan untuk mengambil nira ada didalam sebanyak mungkin. Pada proses dengan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan semaksimal mungkin mengusahakan agar kandungan tertinggal ampas seminimal Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui lebih mengenai gilingan digunakan tebu, juga prthitungan rasio dari rpm turbin hingga mencapai putaran gilingan. Dan didapat kan hasil perhitugan penurunan (I) sampai adalah sebesar 1304 : 1, Turbin (II) 1302 (III) 1291 terakhir (IV) 1317 1.
